The cap of this lady was amazing. I later checked in the museum shop if she could have bought it there but she did not. I have two other photographs of her in different positions with other paintings. Look at her beautiful colored hair! Taking the photograph was quite stressful. I had to move fast between people since she was standing in a group – but fortunately no one blocked the view. I usually love it when people take photographs of the artworks. On a cold and early day in December, almost no one was on the streets or in the museums. One wouldn’t believe that i was not even in the same room. I couldn’t follow her as i wore shoes with loud leather soles and i don’t want to disturb people. She was not even two seconds in front of the painting. I’m so happy that i could catch her! It rarely happens that people wear costumes in museums and if so they are mostly kids. Honestly I didn’t believe my own eyes when I discoverd this guy in the Bode-Museum. I hope you can imagine the joy I feel when something like this happens! The photo won a prize from the renowned @art.kunstmagazin . Since he is taking a photo and the camera is not visible, it looks like he is pulling Jesus out of the painting, dragging him into hell. I was in the Gemäldegalerie for only two minutes when i took this shot. Also, I knew he would fit with two Hieronymus Bosch paintings in two different rooms, so I passed the time until I could catch him in front of the other paintings depicting hell as well.
